IFC mulls $120m investment in Indonesia’s Karian Water Services

International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has proposed an investment of up to $120 million in PT Karian Water Services (KWS), which builds water supply facilities in Indonesia.

IFC’s proposed investment consists of an IFC A Loan of up to $60 million, an IFC B Loan of up to $20 million, a loan of up to $15 million from IFC in its capacity as implementing entity of the Finland-IFC Blended Finance for Climate Program, and USD:IDR cross-currency swap with the loan equivalent exposure of up to $25 million.
