Sea Group‘s e-commerce arm Shopee has undertaken another round of job cuts amounting to around 10-15% of its regional headcount, sources close to the matter told DealStreetAsia.
The latest round of job cuts is understood to have been undertaken in early February this year and affected all departments across markets. Around mid-February, Shopee asked several staff members to hand in their resignations during a town hall meeting, with severance packages to be extended to those affected, according to one direct source.
