Dutch development bank FMO has proposed to invest $8.2 million in the latest equity round of Indefol Solar, a Vietnam-based company that develops, constructs, and operates a portfolio of 179-megawatt-peak (Mwp) solar power projects with commercial and industrial clients, according to a disclosure.
This is part of FMO’s green investment initiatives. The Dutch development bank will provide direct equity to a Vietnamese holding company under which the portfolio will be developed and constructed. The power generated on the roofs of companies will enable them to decrease their energy bill and increase their green energy footprint.
