Healthtech startup HealthPlix Technologies on Wednesday announced that it has raised $22 million in its Series C funding round led by Avataar Venture Partners, SIG Venture Capital, and existing investors.
The proceeds from this round of funding will be used to ramp up doctor-first product innovation, enhance the technology stack, and scale user acquisition efforts, HealthPlix said in a statement.
The startup currently claims to be empowering over 10,000 doctors to drive better health outcomes for their patients by providing clinical decision support at the point of care. By 2024, Healthplix plans to increase its doctors’ base to over 25,000, the statement added.
HealthPlix said that more than 22 million patients have been treated till date using its EMR platform by doctors practising across 16 specialities. Its doctor base and network spans across 370+ cities in India. The startup had raised $2 million in debt funding from Blacksoil Capital last year.
