Taiwanese life insurance company Cathay Life Insurance has committed $80 million to the new flagship fund of technology-focused investment firm Insight Partners, according to the insurer’s regulatory filing.
The filing showed that Cathay Life, the insurance subsidiary of Taiwanese conglomerate Cathay Financial Holdings, committed $80 million to Insight Partners XIII. It did not disclose how much stake it will receive from the investment.
