Harriet rolls out Female Founder Series
Harriet, a platform that supports female founders, has partnered with prominent venture capital firms to launch the “Female Founder Series”.
It has partnered with venture capital firms such as Artesian, Wavemaker Partners, Wavemaker Impact, B Capital, and 1982 Ventures. The “Female Founder Series” will be an in-person event connecting female-led startups with more than 40 VC funds, mentors, and entrepreneurs committed to creating a level playing field for women in business.
“Through this initiative, and via investments from our $100-million Female Leaders Fund, Artesian is committed to actively supporting female founders across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Alexandra Clunies-Ross, portfolio manager, Artesian.
Startups founded or co-founded by women in Southeast Asia garnered about $2 billion in private funding in 2022, accounting for nearly 12.6% of the total capital raised by startups through the year.
