Cruise vehicles breach cordon in San Francisco

Several autonomous cruise vehicles broke through a cordon last week, navigating closed roads.

About two weeks ago there was California a severe storm. There were severe storms with rain and snow that even claimed human lives. Then stayed in san francisco also some roads closed.

On Tuesday evening last week, however, the operator’s autonomous vehicles were driving Cruise via a cordoned off intersection in the Nob Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. They were filmed, as a US news channel reported. Specifically, two cruise vehicles were caught driving over the yellow barrier tape and tearing it down.

Cruise responded to the incident, explaining that the vehicles briefly drove into the area where fallen trees or power lines blocked the roads. Some were still able to continue, others were brought back by the company. Staff were sent for this.

How many of Cruise’s vehicles entered the restricted zone is unclear.
