The event has brought together over 500 organizations from over 25 countries, including the UK, USA, UAE, Australia, China, Germany, Singapore, France, Italy, and Sri Lanka, and 60+ CXOs from the e-mobility and green hydrogen ecosystem, 100+ start-ups, 50+ women energy leaders, and 8+ ministries.
The event will have 30 thematic conference sessions, 6 technical forums and workshops, 5 roundtables, a reverse buyer-seller forum, 3 technical & cultural tours, and much more. Over 150+ partners and exhibitors, 1000+ delegates, and 10,000+ visitors are expected to attend the event.
Speaking about the event, Dr. Rahul Walawalkar, Founder and President, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), said, “The world’s transition to sustainable energy is imperative for our planet’s survival, and India is at the forefront of this change. If India wants to achieve its net-zero goal by 2070, energy storage technologies will have to play a crucial role.”
India has set a goal to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2070 and has been taking significant steps in this direction. The country is focused on increasing its renewable energy capacity, reducing emissions from its industries, and increasing energy efficiency.
At IESW 2023, various ministries and government departments, including the Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Electronics, Department of Electronics Science and Technology, and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change, are expected to grace the occasion with their presence.
Mr. Debi Prasad Dash, Executive Director, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), said, “IESW 2023 will bring meaningful outcomes through deliberations and discussions among industry participants, innovators, and policymakers to create energy storage, electric mobility, and green hydrogen roadmaps for India. IESW 2023 will also witness the signing of a substantial number of MoUs to promote technology transfer, bilateral partnerships, new technology development, collaboration, and cooperation between India and various global energy leaders.”
The platform will also showcase some of the latest products and technologies from different parts of the globe to drive EV adoption. India’s vibrant start-up domain is expected to connect with industry leaders at IESW 2023, which will further advance India’s position as a global hub for energy storage and support the country’s ambitious clean energy transmission goals.
