Indonesian online ticketing platform Goers is in talks to raise over $3 million in fresh funding this year to scale up its events business, a top executive said.
In an interaction with DealStreetAsia, co-founder and CEO Goers Sammy Ramadhan said the company has secured over $2-million funding to date, including seed funding in 2015 from Telkom’s incubation programme. It also raised pre-Series A funding between 2016 and 2020 from local family office Prasetia Dwidharma, Telkom’s corporate venture capital (CVC) MDI Ventures, IDX-listed media firm PT Mahaka Media Tbk, and private equity firms PT Mahanusa Capital and Syailendra.
