STATEMENTS

José López-Tafall, general director of ANFAC indicated that “month after month the sales of electrified vehicles continue to increase, but still remain at very low figures. Despite the general improvement in the market, the share of electrified vehicles is still around 10% of total sales, the same as a year ago. Advancing decisively towards the electrified vehicle is a reality in other European countries that accumulate monthly sales above 20% of the total market. Spain has a wide range of electrified models, but this slow progress registered by our country is clear evidence of the need to implement effective and fast measures. It is necessary to act immediately, both in the area of aid plans, with greater agility in their concession and that they are received at the same time of the purchase, as well as in fiscal support and strengthening the network of access recharging points public. There is no plan B, just accelerate and not be left behind, but the industry alone cannot change the whole of society. We must act now, because in Europe they already take too much advantage of us and we simply cannot afford it”.
