World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation (IFC) is considering an investment of up to $150 million in India Grid Trust (IndiGrid), India’s first listed power transmission Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT).
In a disclosure, IFC said the investment will likely be made via a subscription to Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) issued by IndiGrid. These NCDs are rated, listed, redeemable, secured, and denominated in Indian Rupees.
