The formation of Aquilius Investment Partners is taking place at a unique time in the Asia Pacific, said its founding partners Bastian Wolff and Christian Keiber.
While APAC has enjoyed years of capital inflow from the West, few dedicated players have emerged to meet the rising liquidity needs of investors in this market. A number of secondaries investors have adopted Asia-focused private equity mandates such as NewQuest and TR Capital, but nothing had been done for the real estate sector yet.
