Even as funding for fintech and e-commerce startups in Indonesia has been slowing down amid a prolonged tech winter, PT Ayo Indonesia Maju, a sports-tech startup known as AYO Indonesia, has bagged an undisclosed seed funding from venture capital firm Alpha Momentum Indonesia and other investors.
The round was also joined by the country’s badminton gold medallist Greysia Polii; personal finance startup Finku’s CEO Reinaldo Tendean; FMCG distributor company Heonz Corp’s CEO Leo Lee; and Joseph Prabantara, the co-founder of online job-search and recruitment platform getRedy.id, a top executive told DealStreetAsia.
