HO CHI MINH CITY — VinFast is recalling its first batch of 999 electric vehicles in the U.S. over what the Vietnamese manufacturer described as a display malfunction posing a safety risk.
“Although VinFast is not aware of any field reports of incidents, the company is issuing this recall out of an abundance of caution,” the EV maker told Nikkei Asia on Thursday.
