EnergyHub, a US provider of distributed energy resource management systems (DERMS), has partnered with Emporia, a US supplier of home energy products, to add the Emporia Level 2 EV Charger to EnergyHub’s platform, which is designed to enable utility customer participation in managed charging, behavioral charging and charging analytics programs.
“We’re excited to roll out Emporia’s technology in Dominion Energy’s managed charging program this summer and to scale to additional utility programs soon,” said Matt Johnson, EnergyHub’s VP of Business Development. According to the company, it has more than 1 million devices under management, and saw a 200% increase in the number of EVs in its programs in 2022.
