Saturday saw two wins and four total podium finishes claimed by BMW riders while Sunday races added another win and three more total podiums. Medallia Superbike Race 1, Saturday – During Qualifying 1, Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR teammates Cameron Beaubier (No. 6) and PJ Jacobsen (No. 99) secured front row starting positions. After a good start however, Beaubier ran wide, and fell back from 2nd to 7th while PJ Jacobsen took over the chase of the leading Ducati from 2nd. By lap 3 of 12, Beaubier had worked himself back into 4th position, passing Suzuki rider, Richie Escalante. By lap 4, Beaubier was in 3rd and continued to charge, passing both his teammate, Jacobsen, and the leading Ducati on lap 6. PJ Jacobsen moved into 2nd when John Herrin (Ducati) was forced to go wide and missed a chicane just before the race was red flagged with four laps to go, due to fluid on the track. Since the race had gone at least 2/3rds race distance, the race was called, with Cameron Beaubier and Tytlers Cycle Racing finishing 1st, PJ Jacobsen of Tytlers Cycle Racing in 2nd, Corey Alexander on the No. 23 Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW in 7th and Ashton Yates on the No. 22 Aftercare Scheibe Racing BMW in 9th. Race 2, Sunday – Sunday’s Superbike race appeared that it would play out exactly as Race 1 had – with Cameron Beaubier chasing down and passing the leading No. 2 Ducati. Beaubier appeared to have the straight-line speed to overtake the Ducati but suddenly, on lap 4, Beaubier raised his left hand to indicate a technical issue and pulled off of the track. That left Tytlers Cycle Racing teammate PJ Jacobsen in 2nd position, trying to reel in the Ducati. After 12 laps, it was not to be however, and PJ Jacobsen on the No. 99 BMW M 1000 RR had to settle for 2nd place. Corey Alexander on the No. 99 Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW crossed the finish line in 7th and Ashton Yates, on the No. 22 Aftercare Scheibe Racing machine finished 9th. Steel Commander Stock 1000 Race 1, Saturday – The BMW Orange Cat Racing duo of Ezra Beaubier (No. 16) and Kaleb De Keyrel (No. 51) got off to a great start of the 8-lap race and jumped to the front. Travis Wyman on the No. 10 Travis Wyman Racing BMW M 1000 RR was not to be left behind and he and Beaubier traded the lead several times before the first lap was even completed. Beaubier was able to regain the lead, leaving Wyman and De Keyrel to battle for 2nd position. On the last lap, De Keyrel made an unusual mistake, allowing the No. 172 Suzuki of Cody Wyman to sneak past and deny an all-BMW M 1000 RR podium finish. Top ten BMW finishers were Ezra Beaubier in 1st, followed by Travis Wyman in 2nd, Kaleb De Keyrel in 4th, and Nolan Lamkin in 6th. Race 2, Sunday – The start of the second Stock 1000 race saw BMW riders Travis Wyman of Travis Wyman Racing, Kaleb De Keyrel of Orange Cat Racing and Ezra Beaubier, also of Orange Cat Racing lead the pack in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Shortly after the start however, Beaubier went wide, dropping himself back to 8th position. Nolan Lamkin, on the No. 21 Tom Wood Racing BMW found himself in 4th, but bad luck was about to strike when a collision with the 3rd place rider took both riders out of the race, elevating Beaubier to 4th. Top ten BMW finishers were Travis Wyman in 1st, Kaleb De Keyrel in 2nd, Ezra Beaubier in 4th, Aaron Risinger of Synergy Audio Video / 369 Racing in 8th and Michael Henao of HeyNow Racing / On Any Moto in 9th. Overall Standings for BMW Riders The Medallia Superbike Series’ top BMW rider, Cameron Beaubier, stands in 2nd place overall, followed by PJ Jacobsen in 5th. In the Steel Commander Stock 1000 Series, BMW M 1000 RR rider Ezra Beaubier leads the field in 1st place. His Orange Cat Racing teammate Kaleb De Keyrel is in 2nd with Travis Wyman in 3rd and Nolan Lamkin in 5th.  BMW Group In AmericaBMW of North America, LLC has been present in the United States since 1975.  Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA, LLC began distributing vehicles in 2003.  The BMW Group in the United States has grown to include marketing, sales, and financial service organizations for the BMW brand of motor vehicles, including motorcycles, the MINI brand, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars; Designworks, a strategic design consultancy based in California;  a technology office in Silicon Valley, and various other operations throughout the country.  BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC in South Carolina is the BMW Group global center of competence for BMW X models and manufactures the X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7 Sports Activity Vehicles as well as the BMW XM.
