Mobility Solutions (MSL), a part of JCBL Group, has bagged a contract worth Rs 100 crore with the Indian railways for delivering and installing several essential components for the Vande Bharat Express. The company is currently in the process of delivering and fulfilling the order, as per an official release. This landmark agreement cements MSL’s position as one of the key manufacturers and suppliers of rail components to the Indian railways.
As part of the agreement, MSL will supply eight pieces of the front mask or nose cone worth around Rs 2.4 crore, 16 rakes of interior panelling with toilets worth around Rs 76.58 crore, and 16 coaches per rake. The entire scope of work includes but is not limited to the development, supply, and installation of FRP interior panels for the roof, side, walls, and partitions, toilet with doors, accessories, roller blinds, and other critical equipment. This partnership between MSL and the Indian railways primarily aims to elevate and consolidate the structural integrity and build the quality of the Vande Bharat Express.
The company is among the leading manufacturers of components and parts such as the front mask or nose, seats, window frames, underframes, side walls, roof panels, and much more. MSL is also known for manufacturing and supplying fiber-reinforced (FRP) and glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) or fiberglass.
According to Rishi Aggarwal, the Managing Director, JCBL Group, the parent organisation of MSL, as more and more Vande Bharat trains start running, there is an urgent need to deliver high-quality components for assembling them.

Under the contract, the company aims to enhance the overall efficiency, reliability, and safety of the Vande Bharat Express. With such new trains being launched and run throughout India, connecting several cities and regions, the partnership is only likely to accelerate its overall assembling and operations.
The MSL management has stated that their production units are moving full steam ahead, with the delivery set to be completed within the current financial year at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. MSL’s extensive portfolio of high-quality and durable products and its commitment to constant technological innovation would play a substantial role in this collaboration.
