The Stellantis plant in Vesoul in Haute-SaĆ“ne, the group’s worldwide shipping center for automotive spare parts, offers various positions for the summer period, from forklift operator to order picker. Students are particularly targeted for this recruitment campaign.
On the Stellantis site in Vesoul, a global spare parts logistics center, it’s time to recruit temporary staff for the two summer months. 200 positions are to be filled to ensure business continuity during the summer holiday period. A potential opportunity for many students. Posted salary: 2,000 euros gross, including the thirteenth month, excluding end-of-mission allowances and paid holidays, for contracts of 37.78 hours per week, morning (4:40 a.m. to 12:36 p.m.), afternoon (12:36 p.m. to 8:32 p.m.) or mixed.
Driving machinery, preparing orders, logistics professions are highly sought after, but not only: fitting, painting, compacting, stripping, packaging, the profiles are diverse, and can be filled by both men and women. “Positions are accessible if people are motivated to work. We are inclined to train people on condition that they want to succeed”, warns Eddie Desboeuf, in charge of recruitment, career management and training for Stellantis Vesoul. One condition, however: to be 18 years old.
No particular experience required, since the group proposes to train young recruits internally in the necessary skills, such as Caces, certificate of aptitude for safe driving. “It allows students to get a permit which is an asset on a CV. In addition to giving them these certifications, teaching them rigor, it can help them in their future career,” says Eddie Desboeuf.
This summer recruitment campaign is also an opportunity for the group to identify and even retain certain profiles. Indeed, among the students recruited via various temporary work agencies, some will return from one summer to the next and accumulate skills. Especially since needs also exist during the year, during school holidays and on Saturdays.
As for the so-called “standard” temporary workers, not specifically students, Eddie Desboeuf ensures that they are not left behind, and that often longer contracts are offered to them, even permanent contracts since the Vesoul site, which employs 2,500 people including 800 to 900 temporary workers depending on management, is currently in a favorable phase for hiring.
However, the recruiter does not hide that difficulties remain in filling vacancies: “The current context is that all sectors are recruiting, so we are suffering a drop, we have a local pool which is not infinitely expandable” .
