Impact investing is becoming more mainstream in Southeast Asia due to increasing awareness around sustainable business practices, preserving the environment, and supporting small enterprises and minority- or women-owned businesses.
Several new funds and initiatives have emerged in this space and many venture capital (VC) investors plan to close their impact-related funds this year.
