Graphy has bought community management platform Scenes, while Nova IVF Fertility has acquired Ahmedabad-based WINGS IVF.
Graphy acquires Scenes
Edtech unicorn Unacademy-owned Graphy on Thursday said it has acquired community management platform Scenes.
Scenes is an all-in-one community management platform that enables creators to manage, moderate, and monetise their community by selling their digital products, hosting events, processing payments, and more.
Financial details of the transactions were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of Scenes is a strategic move aimed at strengthening our leadership position in the creator economy,” said Sumit Jain, Co-founder & CEO, Graphy.
“We believe in the power of communities and the impact it can have on learner experience. Scenes has built a robust community platform for creators, and this acquisition aligns with our vision of helping creators and educators build and scale their online knowledge business,” he added.
Graphy is a SaaS platform that empowers creators and educators to scale their online brand and business by launching their online courses and selling them via white-labeled websites and mobile apps.
Nova IVF Fertility buys WINGS IVF
Nova IVF Fertility, one of the largest fertility chains in the country, has acquired Ahmedabad-based WINGS IVF, per an announcement on Thursday.
The acquisition will help Nova IVF Fertility expand its footprint to 68 centres in 44 cities aiming to be the leading provider of IVF services across South Asia.
WINGS IVF was launched in 2014 and since then has established its centres in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Delhi. It has a total of six treatment centres. The enterprise specialises in treating couples with recurrent implantation failures and claims to have achieved over 20,000 live births through IVF pregnancies.
