To see the emerging capabilities of GAIA-1 from Wayve, a generative AI model for autonomous driving, it is helpful to see it in action. If Wavye provides GAIA-1 with a few seconds of context, it can envision several possible future scenarios. This shows that based on the same video post, GAIA-1 understands that in the future many different things can happen.
The video below shows that GAIA-1 can be fed a few seconds of the same initial context. Then it can unfold several possible future scenarios. For example, turning left at the intersection (top left in the picture) or driving straight ahead (top right in the picture). Or even continue straight ahead on another featured road (bottom left of image). It can also imagine a person crossing the street in front of us (bottom right of image).
