Royal Enfield has recorded its total sales of 2,27,706 units in 1QFY24, with over 22 percent growth in the corresponding period of the last financial year.
The company on Saturday reported a 34 percent increase in domestic sales at 67,495 units in June. It had 50,265 units a year ago, Royal Enfield said in a statement. Domestic sales were up 24 per cent last month to 64,436 units compared with 52,135 units in December 2021.
Total sales of the company stood at 77,109 motorcycles in the month of June 2023 as against 61,407 motorcycles sold during the same month in the previous financial year, registering a growth of 26 percent over the same period last year.
“I am thrilled to share that we continued our stellar growth momentum in FY24 and have registered our highest ever sales for the first quarter; beating our previous high of Q1FY19. Our recent products continue to perform well across India and International markets and we are optimistic that our exciting line-up of motorcycles will definitely enthral the pure motorcycling enthusiasts across the globe,” said B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield.
