Zluri has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by Lightspeed, while India’s Clove Dental is considering acquiring a controlling stake in Sabka Dentist.
Lightspeed leads Zluri’s Series B funding
US-based SaaS management platform Zluri has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by multi-stage venture capital firm Lightspeed.
Existing investors including MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners, and Kalaari Capital participated in the funding round. The company has raised $32 million in total venture funding since 2020.
With the new funding round, the company plans to expand generative AI capabilities in enterprise SaaSOps with Zluri’s CoPilot — an intelligent assistant to boost efficiency and productivity across enterprises using no-code workflows.
Founded in 2020, Zluri is a cloud-native SaaSOps platform enabling modern enterprises with SaaS Management and Identity Governance. The company had raised $10 million in a Series A round last year.
Clove Dental eyes controlling stake in Sabka Dentist
India’s Clove Dental, which operates under Mauritius-based parent Global Dental Services, is considering acquiring a controlling stake in dental clinics chain Sabka Dentist, reported VCCircle.
Founded in 2011, Clove Dental manages over 340 clinics in 24 cities across India. It plans to take the number up to 1,000 over the next few years.
DealStreetAsia reported this week that the company is in talks with the Qatar Investment Authority to raise funding as it looks to ramp up operations in the country, .
Clove Dental has also started negotiating with a few funds based in Oman, including prominent names such as Oman India Joint Investment Fund.
Currently, the dental services market is highly fragmented and stands at $3 billion; large hospitals and dental chains account for under 10% of all practices.
