AMU Leasing, a NBFC exclusively serving the EV ecosystem, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India‘s retail market.
The agreement focuses on introducing new-age electric three-wheelers for both passenger and commercial use. As part of this collaboration, the highly anticipated Treo Plus, available in passenger and cargo configurations, will soon be launched.
Customers will benefit from easier access to financing solutions for EVs, while Mahindra & Mahindra will handle the supply side. Demand aggregation will be achieved through collaboration with local dealers and AMU Leasing, fostering business expansion across tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India.
The partnership aims to capitalize on the growing demand for electric vehicles in India, particularly in the three-wheeler segment.
AMU Leasing and Mahindra & Mahindra’s joint efforts will provide fast and dynamic financial solutions to customers adopting EVs, with Mahindra’s local dealer points taking care of servicing and maintenance.
The organizations aim to deploy 1,000 electric vehicles by the end of this year, demonstrating their commitment to advancing sustainable transportation practices.
