Indian government-backed investment platform  National Investment and Infrastructure Fund’s chief executive officer Sujoy Bose has stepped down from the role. Separately, Centrum Group has appointed Sandeep Das as managing director and chief executive officer of Centrum Wealth, reported VCCircle.

NIIF’s CEO steps down

Indian government-backed investment platform  National Investment and Infrastructure Fund’s chief executive officer Sujoy Bose has stepped down from the role, according to a LinkedIn post.

Bose held the position of managing director and CEO for around seven years. He previously worked with International Finance Corporation (IFC) as the global co-head for infrastructure and natural resources. Prior to that, he spearheaded IFC’s African Latin American and Caribbean Fund.

NIIF’s former executive director and chief operating officer Rajiv Dhar has been appointed as the interim CEO & managing director.

NIIF manages funds with investments in different asset classes and diversified sectors.

Centrum Wealth appoints new CEO

Indian financial services firm Centrum Group has appointed Sandeep Das as managing director and the chief executive officer of Centrum Wealth, according to a VCCircle report.

Das has worked with Barclays Private Bank for over four years as the CEO of the company’s private clients unit in India. In his previous role, he was the managing director and head of private banking for Standard Chartered, he worked with the bank 28 years before joining Barclays.

Previously, managing directors Ganashyam S and Arpita Vinay handled the wealth management business of the firm, according to VCCircle.

Founded in 1997, Centrum Group provides services including investment banking and broking to FIIs, pension funds, and Indian mutual funds. The firm also provides wealth management services to HNIs and family offices, housing finance in tier 2 and 3 cities as well as retail broking services.
