Ho Chi Minh City-headquartered Earth Venture Capital has invested in US-based lithium-silicon battery company Group14 while Philippines-based HR tech startup Sprout Solutions has acquired Aiah AI.

Philippines-based HR tech startup Sprout Solutions has acquired Aiah AI for an undisclosed sum, according to an announcement.
Aiah AI, through its technology, automates recurring business processes to increase productivity among companies and divert its focus to higher-value activities.
By leveraging AI, Sprout will generate more insight and analysis for its clients, as well as further increase the accessibility and efficiency of its platform for HR and payroll management.
In April, Sprout Solutions raised about $10.7 million in a new funding round led by Cercano Management. Other investors participating in the round include SoftBank Ventures Asia, GSR Ventures and AFG Partners.
Earth VC invests in US-based Group14
Earth Venture Capital (Earth VC), a global investment firm focused on sustainable technologies, has announced an investment in Group14, a lithium-silicon battery company based in the US.
This investment, led by a consortium including Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund, Lightrock Climate Impact Fund, Moore Strategic Ventures, Oman Investment Authority, and Molicel, underscores the immense potential of Group14’s innovative battery technology in advancing clean energy solutions, according to an announcement.
“By investing in Group14, we are not just backing a company, but joining a movement to reshape the future of energy storage,” said Linh Nguyen, Founding Partner at Earth VC.
Earth VC is focused on renewable energy, robotics, IoT, smart agriculture and new materials.
