GM’s CAMI Assembly production affected by parts availability issue

General Motors Co. is keeping its CAMI Assembly plant in Ontario down this week and next week due to a supply chain issue, the company confirmed Wednesday.

Production of BrightDrop electric vans will resume July 31 after two weeks of downtime due to parts availability. The plant had a planned shutdown the first and second weeks of July.
