China FAW Group, a leading automaker based in Changchun, Jilin province, topped of its ceremony marking the new Hongqi HS3 vehicle on Monday night with a 2,000-drone light show.
In the grand finale, the drones flew over the night sky and formed a series of images and Chinese characters, including the new car, the brand logo and “hong qi” — which means “red flag”.
Founded on July 15, 1953, FAW welcomed its 70th anniversary on Saturday.
After 70 years of development, the group has become a leader in industrial revitalization and made an important contribution to regional economic growth.
