US cloud-based SaaS provider Virtual Peaker has introduced an integrated end-to-end distributed-energy platform designed to increase utilities’ grid flexibility by enabling them to build more comprehensive demand-response programs that can minimize EV load congestion.
The platform allows utilities to make use of privacy-focused EV telematics data as well as that from internet-connected EV chargers, to manage multi-OEM demand-response programs, to support both V1G and V2G capabilities and to provide real-time access to EV charging behavior and energy consumption.
“We’re proactively focusing on creating a single, scalable solution to increase adoption of distributed-energy resources programs and help utilities reach their goals more quickly and efficiently,” said Dr. William Burke, Virtual Peaker founder and CEO.
