Formula 1: Monza warms up the engines. In just thirty days, at 3 pm on Sunday 3 September, the traffic lights will go out to kick off the 94th edition of the Pirelli GP of Italy: the fifteenth round and the only Italian round of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship.

Entrances and timetables: 5 pedestrian entrances, 2 new walkways. Race weekend: opening at 7

The five pedestrian entrances (Vedano, Lesmo, Mirabello, Costa Alta and Costa Bassa) have been confirmed and two new walkways have been created (Mirabello/Variante Ascari; Variante Ascari/Santa Maria alle Selve entrance) to facilitate and speed up public access. Opening: Friday 1st September at 7.30am, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd at 7am. Closing: at 8pm for all three days.

During the days of the GP – starting from Thursday 31 August – the Eurocity trains from Milan Central Station, Bologna Central Station, Genoa Porta Principe and Venice Santa Lucia with destination Zurich or Basel and the Eurocity trains leaving from the two Swiss cities to the aforementioned capitals will stop, extraordinarily , in Monza. By purchasing a Frecciarossa, Intercity or Eurocity ticket for Milan, or a Eurocity ticket for Monza on the Trenitalia website, you can purchase tickets for the Formula 1 Grand Prix with a 5% discount.

There are 24 refreshment points where it will be possible to buy food and drinks, 10 water points (free) managed by BrianzAcque. Fan Zone: free Thursday 31 August at 2pm; Fri 1/Sun 3: from 9 to 19 only for ticket holders

The Fan Zone – located between the opposite straight and that of the High Speed ​​ring – will allow you to try the experience of a tire change, try your hand at driving simulation, learn about the careers of the 20 protagonists of the World Championship, experience the thrill of the podium and take a leap into the Formula 1 of the future. It will also be possible to admire some Italian Formula 1 cars from the past and the cars with which the drivers will make the parade on Sunday morning. Ferrari is a special presence, particularly appreciated by fans and enthusiasts. Equally exciting will be the performances of DJs and bands that will mark the days in this area. The Fan Zone will open to the public on Thursday 31 August at 2 pm, free of charge (access only from viale Mirabello). On other days, access will be allowed to GP ticket holders from 9 to 19.

What you can bring: no tents, bikes and helmets; yes small plastic bottles and flexible plastic flag poles

Inside the facility, you can introduce umbrellas without metal tips, non-wooden chairs and stools, plastic bottles and water bottles not exceeding half a liter in capacity. On the other hand, entry to bicycles, scooters, drones, weapons and knives, glass artifacts, tents, flag poles if not plastic and flexible, spray cans, pyrotechnic material, work tools is not allowed.
