Scott Grandinett is the Chief Engineer for the Lincoln Navigator, the brand’s flagship vehicle. He oversees business and engineering operations for the brand’s full-sized premium SUV, leading the program team across all functions and skill areas.
Grandinett knew from a young age that he was destined for a role in the automotive industry. He grew up in a “Ford family,” his father was also a Chief engineer at Ford. His passion for cars was ignited early in life, restoring classic cars in high school with his father.
Grandinett has worked at Ford Motor Company for 22 years. “We have the best people in the world. Leading this talented team is an absolute honor and the culmination of my years designing and launching vehicles around the globe” said Grandinett, whose career has spanned more than eight countries, including time spent in Germany working on global sedans.
Deep customer insight is a guiding principle for Grandinett as he inspires the Navigator team to continue to elevate the brand’s flagship SUV.
Grandinett resides in Canton, Michigan, with his wife and three boys.
