The automotive supplier Continental has lowered its sales forecasts for the full year in view of a weaker tire business. In the tire business, sales of 14.0 to 15.0 billion euros are now expected, the company announced on the occasion of its quarterly balance sheet on Wednesday.
Group sales should now reach EUR 41.5 to 44.5 billion instead of the previously expected range of EUR 42 to 45 billion. Continental had already published key figures for the second quarter in July.
