Godawari Electric launches eblu Feo, aims to double retail outlets

The Raipur-based electric three-wheeler and electric cycle maker, Godawari Electric Motors, today announced its entry into the electric scooter market with the launch of the eblu Feo at an introductory price of Rs 99,999.

The company has outlined an aggressive retail plan to target Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, as well as build a network of more than 100 retail outlets from its current 50 retail outlets by the end of the current fiscal year. Hyder Khan, CEO of Godawari Electric Motors, said that the company will also build its brand in key metros in the country as part of its network expansion. 

The electric scooter is powered by a 2.52 kW Li-ion battery that produces 110 Nm of peak torque and has a range of 110 kilometers with a top speed of 60 kilometers per hour. Pre-orders for eblu Feo began on August 15, 2023, with deliveries beginning on August 23, 2023.

Godawari Electric, which has invested nearly Rs 150 crore in its EV manufacturing plant in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is looking to fully utilise its 90,000 unit capacity at its EV manufacturing plant in Raipur, Chattisgarh, which also manufactures the Eblu Rozee (EV three-wheeler, L5M), Eblu Spin, and Eblu Thrill (e-bicycle) range of cycles.

The EV maker is also looking to strengthen its electric three-wheeler portfolio with the upcoming launch of its e-loader Eblu Reino in September 2023. 

Features of the eblu Feo include telescopic front suspension and dual tube twin shocker for a comfortable ride, as well as CBS disc brakes in the front and rear for improved passenger safety. It is also backed by Hi-resolution AHO LED Headlamps and LED tail lamps for assured night driving.

The eblu Feo has a Mode7.4 7.4-inch digital full-color display with vehicle information such as Service alert, Side Stand sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, Navigation Assistant, Incoming Message alert, Call alert, Mode’s display, Reverse indicator, Battery SOC indicator, Throttle fault sensor, Motor fault sensor, Battery alert, and Helmet indicator.
