Audi Q6 e-tron at the IAA in Munich

For more than two years, Audi was unable to present a new car at the various motor shows around the world. This year’s IAA in Munich is therefore also a salvation for the VW premium subsidiary: the Ingolstadt company is showing the electric SUV Q6 e-tron with a delay of more than two years. The vehicle is based on the new PPE platform that Audi developed together with Porsche. The highlight is the new software, which is being used for the first time in the Q6 e-tron and is referred to internally as E1.2.
But in order for one brand to be able to liberate itself, another has to wait: Porsche will present the identical E-Macan later and will leave the grand entrance to its sister brand. The recently shaken premium brand Audi should be able to present itself again as a technological pioneer in the group. For the time being, Porsche will only have one electric car: the four-year-old Taycan.
