Georgia-based EV charging company EnviroSpark has signed agreements to engineer and install 432 DC fast charging stations for Ford and Lincoln dealerships at 24 locations across 9 US states.
Ford will require all dealerships selling EVs to have EV chargers on their lots by 2024.
EnviroSpark offers turnkey design, installation and operation of EV charging solutions. The company has deployed nearly 7,000 charging plugs to date.
EnviroSpark will build and maintain the new chargers at dealerships across Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Iowa and Indiana. The company’s total estimated revenue from the dealership agreements exceeds $13.5 million.
“Installing electric vehicle charging stations on our lot is not just a smart business move, but a critical step towards meeting the growing demand for electric vehicles,” says Brad Correll of Loganville Ford in Loganville, Georgia. “After reviewing proposals from several EV charging companies, we chose to partner with EnviroSpark. Working with their company has allowed us to embrace the future of fueling Ford vehicles in a completely convenient and seamless way.”
