Greaves Electric Mobility launches new Eltra cargo three-wheeler with 100km range

Greaves Electric Mobility has launched its latest three-wheeler, the Greaves Eltra cargo model targeted at last-mile logistics providers. 

With an enhanced power capability of 9.5 kW at peak performance from a 10.8 kWh battery pack, the Greaves Eltra is capable of covering over 100 kilometres per charge. According to the company, this zero-emissions vehicle is engineered to optimise delivery routes, reduce downtime, and enhance the overall efficiency of last-mile logistics operations. It also has a spacious factory-fitted delivery box, providing 140 cubic feet of storage capacity.

The Greaves Eltra cargo e-three-wheeler is targeted at both large and small businesses. Key product highlights include robust torque of 49 Nm, a 6.2-inch digital cluster equipped with Bluetooth, navigation and technology integration capabilities, and 12-degree gradeability to handle inclines and hilly city pathways. Its electrical components are waterproof and dustproof, ensuring reliability in all weather conditions. The all-new Greaves Eltra also packs tech features like geolocation and geofencing, vehicle and driver performance management, end-to-end fleet management, and remote diagnostics.  

The L5 three-wheeler industry has bounced back to pre-pandemic levels and is expected to grow.  At present, one of the five L5 cargo vehicles sold in India today is electric.

Greaves Eltra, manufactured by one of the subsidiaries of Greaves Electric Mobiliy at its manufacturing location in Hyderabad, will be available throughout India via Greaves Electric Mobility’s nationwide network.
