Inalfa Roof Systems appoints Georges Andary as its new CEO

Inalfa Roof Systems Group, a global leader in the automotive industry headquartered in the Netherlands, has appointed Georges Andary as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from October 1, 2023.

Georges Andary has over 28 years of executive leadership experience in the automotive industry to his new role and has demonstrated extensive market knowledge, strategic insights, and expertise in management, development, and business development, states the company.

Inalfa Roof Systems develops and produces integrated roof systems to nearly every major automotive brand. Inalfa Roof Systems has factories and development centres in Europe, Northern America and Asia. With over 800 life patents and a global market share of approximately 25%, Inalfa delivers roof systems to almost every major car and truck manufacturer in the world. Since 2011, Inalfa Roof Systems is part of Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co, one of the biggest suppliers of automotive parts in China.

In May 2023, Anand Group flagship company Gabriel India signed a technical collaboration and alliance agreement with Inalfa Roof Systems to manufacture sunroofs for the Indian automotive market. Gabriel India aims to invest Rs 170 crore into the technical collaboration over the next three years, with a revenue potential of Rs 1,000 crore by 2030. The company aims to evolve the alliance -Inalfa Gabriel Sunroof Systems, which will initially be a wholly-owned Gabriel India entity, into a 51:49 JV in the near term, of which 49% shareholding will be with Gabriel and 51% with Inalfa.

Prior to joining Inalfa, Mr. Andary held several executive management positions at Bosch. Most recently, he served as the General Manager of Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) and as President of the Automotive Electronics Division in China.
