Under the terms of the agreement, YJEC will serve as the exclusive distributor and provider of after-sales support for the complete PIX Robobus range in Taiwan. This encompasses Moving Spaces, cleaning robots, drive-by-wire chassis, and autonomous driving development kits. Additionally, the sales territory will extend to Southeast Asia.

The first batch of the Robobuses will be shipped to Taiwan shortly, providing autonomous shuttle services in scenic areas, industrial parks, transportation hubs, and smart cities.

“We are honored to establish strategic cooperation with PIX Moving, introducing innovative technologies and high-value services in the context of the trend towards electric and clean vehicles. PIX’s creative concepts and advanced technologies are opening a revolution and new application of intelligent mobility,” said Chongwei Wen, CEO of YJEC, at the signing ceremony.

The emergence of the Robobus will redefine vehicles and lead to a new wave of intelligent mobility platforms worldwide. Vehicles will no longer be limited as a means of transportation but will evolve into Moving Spaces that integrate life, work, entertainment, and culture.

Based on their own expertise in electric vehicle engineering, YJEC will collaborate with PIX’s Moving Space platform to promote various application scenarios. This includes supporting the global goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions through comprehensive electrification by 2050, maximizing the social and economic benefits of intelligent and autonomous driving vehicles, and addressing challenges such as increasing personnel costs and shortages.

“The collaboration with YJEC signifies the large-scale deployment of the Robobus, PIX’s self-developed autonomous driving minibus, in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. We hope that the Robobus will become an innovation in the transportation field of Taiwan, providing the residents with a more convenient, efficient, and environmentally friendly way of travel, promoting the green and sustainable development of urban transportation, and contributing to smart city construction,” stated Yuteng Cao, COO of PIX Moving.
