TOKYO — Japan’s largest auto show is back this week with a new name and focus, reflecting the growing importance of electrification and software technologies for automakers in the race to remain globally competitive.
Nearly 500 companies will gather on Wednesday at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s largest international exhibition center, for the Japan Mobility Show. Entry will be limited to the press and special guests for the first three days, and open to the general public from Saturday through Nov. 5.
