Tummoc has partnered with redBus to streamline end-to-end outstation transportation. The collaboration empowers over 3 million existing users to use Tummoc beyond intra-city transportation needs. Within the Tummoc app, users can now avail services including – access to intercity bus ticket bookings and Tummoc’s first and last-mile connectivity solutions, available through Auto, Cabs, and Taxi Bikes, across the 21+ cities in India.
The collaboration between Tummoc and redBus comes at an opportune time when outstation travel within India is on the brink of booming exponentially. As per a report in June 2022 titled “Intercity Travel Mobility Market in India” by PGA Labs, India outstation market by value stood at US$ 66 billion with 30.1 billion outstation commute passenger trips per annum in FY20; out of which 50% are through buses. The outstation bus market was at US$ 30 billion in FY20 and is expected to grow at 9.8% CAGR from FY20-25. This partnership will help Tummoc to offer a one-stop end-to-end transportation solutions provider for its growing user base, the company stated.
As part of the integrated all-in-one app solution by Tummoc, travellers can reserve auto, cabs and bike taxis public transport pass and tickets, and access real-time inter and intracity transport schedules and route information for a hassle-free commute across Tummoc’s 21+ serviced cities.
