The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the apex body of the Indian auto component industry today, concluded its eighth edition of the ‘iAutoConnect’, a reverse buyers and sellers meet. The event was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The two-day exhibition was held on November 22-23, 2023 at ‘Yashobhoomi’, the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre (IICC) Dwarka, New Delhi. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Hanif Qureshi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India along with Sachin Kulkarni, Executive Director, Volkswagen Group, India, Shradha Suri Marwah, President, ACMA India and CMD, Subros and Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA.
iAutoConnect 2023 served as a prime platform for over 145 ACMA member companies that showcased their product offerings and manufacturing prowess for exports. Further, international presence at the event was notable, with 150 business visitors from over 35 countries including UK, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Ghana, Yemen, Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan, Bhutan, and many more. Additionally, the event witnessed participation of Russian OEMs AutoVAZ and KAMAZ, and Swedish Tier-I Leax, highlighting the diverse scope of iAutoConnect.
