With both cargo- and passenger-carrying electric three-wheelers amounting to over 1.2 million units, and forming over 40 percent of the total EV parc in India, the country is witnessing a transformation of the last-mile mobility segment which today demands solutions for the transportation of goods as e-commerce continues to rise, as well as people, who are also increasingly adopting multi-modal transportation.
The last-mile mobility segment has emerged as a low-hanging fruit in India’s EV transition which is witnessing the emergence of new-age business models tapping into the power of data from vehicle telematics.
