Bridgestone Corporation has been designated as the sole future tire supplier for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship from the 2026-2027 season through the 2029-2030 season.
The announcement was made at the World Motor Sport Council in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). Bridgestone’s selection is a key element of the company’s sustainable global motorsports strategy, aligning with its commitment to developing and refining sustainable technology.
As the exclusive tire supplier for Formula E, Bridgestone aims to contribute to the advancement of sustainable mobility. The company’s involvement in Formula E serves as a platform for the development of innovative and eco-friendly tire technologies, furthering its mission of “serving society with superior quality” and playing a role in the realisation of a sustainable society.
