GUANGZHOU — China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) and other automakers are releasing a series of sports car-type electric vehicles, seeking to showcase their high-tech capabilities and strengthen their brand presence in an increasingly competitive EV market.
At the base of GAC’s EV subbrand Aion in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, stretches a plot of land, around 3,000 sq. meters — the site of the company’s EV plant.
