Indonesian human resources solutions provider Venteny has bought a stake in in PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia, while customer service software maker Zendesk is set to acquire AI-powered quality management platform Klaus.
Venteny eyes DPI’s e-money licence
Indonesian employee benefits and fintech solutions provider Venteny on Tuesday announced that it has obtained a 30% stake in PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI), a provider of integrated digital banking services that include rural digitalisation, financing, e-money, and e-remittance.
In a statement, Venteny said it was keen to obtain the e-money licence of Dipay—a platform under DPI.
“Through this corporate action, Venteny aims to optimise the integration of digital payment technology to help users perform transactions. In addition to giving added value for users, the e-money integration will enable a more practical and efficient payment experience through the Venteny Employee Super App,” said Venteny founder and group CEO Jun Waide.
Venteny, which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), operates in the Philippines, Singapore, and Japan, aside from its home country. It said that it has 9,600 SMEs onboard its platform, along with over 250,000 users of its app in Indonesia.
Zendesk to acquire AI-powered platform Klaus
Customer service software maker Zendesk has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AI-powered quality management platform Klaus.
In a statement, Zendesk said that with the advent of AI, customer service teams are being asked to increase their ROI by managing a rising volume of interactions while providing quality service and increasing their organisation’s efficiency in the process.
“As AI drives up the speed and frequency of customer engagement, only AI-powered quality assurance can keep up as companies work to identify and fix gaps in their customer service operations,” said Zendesk chief technology officer Adrian McDermott.
Zendesk was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2007 and currently operates in more than 20 countries around the world.
