After offering prayers to Lord Ram as part of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya on Monday, Tripura CM Manik Saha said the state government has moved in a direction to become a multinational trade and logistics hub for northeast India very soon.

He said the Agartala-Akhaura rail link and Maitri Bridge over river Feni in South Tripura once operational, will turn Tripura into the gateway to southeast Asia, boosting trade and employment opportunities not only for the people of the state but also for potential enterprises of the region.

Reflecting on the initiatives taken since the BJP-led government was voted to power in 2018, Saha pointed out that developments in infrastructure, communication, public welfare, health, education, industry, sports, agriculture, and culture have got a boost, and multiple opportunities have opened up. And his government has relentlessly been working to maintain law and order to ensure peace and harmony.
