LUANG PRABANG, Laos — Auto production in Thailand is expected to grow for the first time in two years in 2024 as BYD and other Chinese electric vehicle makers ramp up output in the country.
Thai auto production is expected to increase 3% to 1.9 million vehicles this year, according to a forecast by the Federation of Thai Industries published Monday.
