Tiger Global backs Wiz Freight’s $15m Series B round
India-based digital cross-border supply-chain startup Wiz Freight has raised around $15 million in a Series B funding round, reported Entrackr.
SBI Investment led the funding round, while Tiger Global, Nippon Express Holdings, Axilor Technologies Fund, Foundamental, Arali Investments, Unikon Shipping Ventures, and some family offices participated, added the report.
Founded in 2020, Wiz Freight has more than 900 employees working at over 25 offices in India, the UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and the US.
The company provides digital forwarding services for the global supply-chain sector. Wiz Freight acquired the India operations of Swiss firm M + R Spedag in 2022.
p0 bags $6.5m from Lightspeed Venture Partners
India-based coding security platform p0 has raised $6.5 million from Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to TechCrunch. US-based venture capital firm Alchemy Ventures participated in the funding, added the report.
Founded in 2022, p0 offers developers a glance at production breaking issues like platform crashes, data integrity, missing validations, timeout errors, response time, and more to help them create a leaner and resilient application.
With over $7 billion in assets under management across four funds, Lightspeed has invested in over 500 companies globally. These include prominent names such as Indian e-commerce giant Udaan and edtech company BYJU’S, Southeast Asia-based super-app Grab and logistics startup Shipper, American BNPL provider Affirm, and social media firm Snap.
