Designed to cater to the evolving needs of the modern logistics and transportation industry, EKA Mobility’s 1.5-tonne electric LCVs promise exceptional performance, reduced operational costs, and a lower environmental footprint. The company also showcased its 9-meter electric bus, EKA 9 Staff Bus, at the expo.

The EKA K1.5 range boasts a 300 volts electrical system architecture with peak power of 60kW, ensuring best-in-class vehicle performance and a comprehensive warranty for worry-free usage, the company shared.
EKA Mobility is focus on indigenous software development and providing a tailored software ecosystem for its vehicles ensures greater customisation, optimisation, security, and reliability. The company’s proprietary software powers the vehicles and enables seamless connectivity, offering users advanced features and a futuristic driving experience. The company’s state-of-the-art facilities in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will contribute to the production of over 700 electric buses and 5000+ electric light commercial vehicles, all designed and manufactured in India.
EKA’s presence at the expo also highlights its commitment to exploring advanced technologies, as seen in the delivery van application for urban logistics and the innovative eutectic van designed for temperature-sensitive cargo transportation.
Earlier this year, EKA Mobility announced a partnership with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands) with a joint investment of over USD 100 million, positioning India as a global manufacturing & sourcing hub for electric vehicles. Additionally, EKA Mobility has collaborated with GreenCell Mobility to supply 1000 intercity electric buses in the next few years.
