New Delhi: Bajaj Auto, one of India’s leading automobile manufacturers, reported an increase of 18% to 2,20,393 units in March 2024 domestic sales, compared to 1,86,522 units in March 2023.
On the export front, Bajaj Auto saw a 39% growth, reporting 1,45,511 units shipped to international markets in March 2024, compared to 1,05,045 units exported in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Within the two-wheeler segment, Bajaj Auto reported a 27% increase in total sales, with 3,13,885 units sold in March 2024, compared to 2,47,002 units sold in March 2023. Domestic sales saw an increase of 20% to 1,83,004 units compared to 1,52,287 units sold in March 2023. However, exports increased by 38% as 1,30,881 units were exported from October 2022’s 94,715 units.
The company witnessed an increase of 17% in the total sales of commercial vehicles to 52,019 units compared to 44,565 units last year. The company also reported highest ever domestic CV sales of 37,389 units, an increase of 9% from 34,235 units in March 2023.The exports increased by 42% to 14,630 compared to last year’s 10,330 units.
